About this tool

Wash a photo with a color. Tint adds a cast of the chosen color while keeping the original colors visible; Colorize turns the image into shades of that single color, like a toned print.

Brightness and shading are preserved in both styles, so the picture keeps all its detail.

  • Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
  • No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.

Questions and answers

What is the difference between Tint and Colorize?

Tint keeps the original colors and pushes them toward the tint. Colorize replaces them, so the whole picture becomes one hue in different shades.

How do I get a sepia look?

Choose a warm brown such as #a67c52, select Colorize and set the strength to about 70%.

Is Tint free?

Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
