Help

How the tools work, which files they open, and what to do when something doesn’t.

Getting started

Pick a tool from the home page or press / to search. Then choose a file, drag it onto the page, or paste an image you copied with Ctrl+V (⌘+V on a Mac). Change the settings, check the preview, and download the result.

Not sure which tool you need? Drop a file onto the home page: it shows the file’s details and suggests the tools that fit it.

Supported browsers

Any recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera or Samsung Internet works, on computers, tablets and phones. A few tools need newer browser features:

  • GIF to MP4 uses your browser’s built-in video encoder. If MP4 isn’t available, the tool offers WebM instead.
  • AI tools such as Remove Background and Blur Face run a model on your device. They work everywhere but are much faster on a computer, especially one with a recent graphics card.
  • Camera tools need a camera and your permission to use it.

Supported formats

  • Open: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF (including animated), BMP, ICO, SVG, TIFF (including multi-page), PSD, PDF and camera RAW (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, DNG, ORF, RW2 and more).
  • Save: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, ICO, TIFF, SVG (from the vector tools) and PDF.

About HEIC photos: HEIC and HEIF pictures use HEVC compression, which the site doesn’t ship a decoder for. They open in browsers that decode HEIC themselves: Safari on Mac, iPhone and iPad. In other browsers, open the page in Safari, or set the phone’s camera to save photos as JPG.

About RAW files: RAW conversion uses the full-size JPEG preview your camera stores inside every RAW file. It shows the photo exactly as your camera rendered it, with your picture style and white balance. For RAW files that don’t contain a large preview, the result can be smaller than the original sensor resolution.

Common questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser. See the privacy policy for details.

Is there a size or file limit?

No fixed limit. Very large images (above about 50 megapixels) or batches of hundreds of photos can run out of memory on phones. If that happens, process fewer files at a time, or use a computer.

A tool is slow

Processing speed depends on your device. Close other heavy tabs, and keep the tab in front while it works: browsers slow down background tabs. AI tools are the heaviest; the first run also downloads the model, which is then cached.

The downloaded image looks different from the original

Images are converted to the standard sRGB color space when processed. Wide-gamut photos may look very slightly less saturated. Lossy formats (JPG, WebP, AVIF) trade quality for size: raise the quality setting if you see artifacts.

My download didn’t start

Some browsers ask before downloading several files. For batches, use the “Download all” button, which saves a single ZIP file.

Can I use the results commercially?

Yes. The results are yours. Just make sure you have the rights to the images you start with.
