About this tool
Change the size of one photo or a whole folder at once. Type exact pixel dimensions, scale by a percentage, or set just the longest side, the width or the height and let the other side follow. Every file shows its new dimensions and file size before you download.
When the new size has different proportions than a photo, choose how it should fit: keep the proportions, stretch, add padding in any color (or transparent), or fill the frame and crop the overflow. High-quality Lanczos resampling keeps downsized photos sharp, and a pixel-art mode keeps icons and sprites crisp.
- Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
- No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.
Questions and answers
How do I resize many images to the same size?
Add all the images, choose “Longest side” to give every photo the same maximum size while keeping its proportions, or choose “Pixels” with a fit option to make every file exactly the same width and height.
Will resizing reduce the quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp because the tool uses Lanczos resampling. Enlarging cannot add detail that isn’t there, so big enlargements look soft. Turn off “Enlarge smaller images” to leave small photos untouched.
Can I keep the original file format?
Yes. “Save as: Original” keeps JPG as JPG, PNG as PNG and WebP as WebP. Formats a browser can’t write, such as HEIC, are saved as JPG, or as PNG when they have transparency.
Is Resize Image free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
