About this tool

Split one image into a grid of equal tiles, into rows or columns, or into tiles of a fixed size in pixels. Cut lines and tile numbers are shown on the image, so you see exactly where each piece starts and ends.

Every tile is saved at full resolution and named by its row and column, so the files sort in the right order. All tiles are downloaded together as one ZIP file.

  • Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
  • No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.

Questions and answers

How do I split an image into equal parts?

Choose “Rows and columns” and type how many of each you want. When the size doesn’t divide evenly, the tiles differ by at most one pixel so no part of the image is lost.

What happens when I split by tile size?

The image is cut into tiles of exactly that size from the top-left corner. Leftover strips at the right and bottom become smaller tiles, or are left out if you turn that off.

Is Image Splitter free?

Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
