About this tool
Cut a photo into a circle for avatars, icons and stickers. The outside of the circle is dimmed while you position it, and the result is a PNG with transparent corners, or with a background color of your choice.
Add a colored ring around the edge and scale the result to an exact size. Edges are smoothed, so the circle looks clean at any size.
- Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
- No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.
Questions and answers
Why does my circle photo have a white background?
JPG files can’t store transparency, so the corners are filled with a color. Save as PNG or WebP to keep the corners transparent.
Can I add a border around the circle?
Yes. Drag the Border slider and pick a color. The border is drawn inside the circle so nothing is cut off.
Is Circle Crop free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
