About this tool

Take a photo with your computer’s webcam or your phone’s camera, right in the browser. Choose the camera and resolution, mirror the picture, use a self-timer and a screen flash, then download the photo as JPG, PNG or WebP.

Every photo you take stays in a gallery below the camera until you leave the page, so you can take several and download the best ones, or all of them as a ZIP.

  • Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
  • No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.

Questions and answers

Is the video sent anywhere?

No. The camera picture is shown and captured by your own browser. Nothing is recorded, uploaded or stored on a server.

Why is the photo mirrored?

With Mirror on, the picture is flipped like a mirror, which feels natural for selfies. Turn it off to save the photo the way others see you, for example when text is in the picture.

Why is the resolution lower than I chose?

The camera uses the closest size it supports. Most built-in laptop cameras top out at 720p or 1080p.

Is Camera free?

Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
