About this tool
Save an image from your clipboard as a file: take a screenshot or copy an image, press Ctrl+V (⌘V on a Mac) on this page, and download it as PNG, JPG or WebP. You can also use the Paste button or drop a file.
Give the file a name before you download it. Every image you paste is kept in a list on the page, so you can save several screenshots in a row or download them all as a ZIP.
- Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
- No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.
Questions and answers
Why doesn’t the Paste button work in my browser?
Some browsers only allow pasting with the keyboard. Press Ctrl+V or ⌘V anywhere on the page instead; it works everywhere.
I copied an image from a website but nothing appears. Why?
You probably copied the link to the image. Right-click the image itself, choose “Copy image” and paste again.
Which format should I save a screenshot as?
PNG keeps text and interface details perfectly sharp. Choose JPG or WebP for photos to get much smaller files.
Is Paste to Download free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
