About this tool

Questions and answers
Which is safer: mosaic, blur or a solid box?
A solid box is the only one that can’t be undone. Strong mosaic and blur hide faces well, but small text such as passwords or account numbers can sometimes be partly reconstructed, so cover text with a solid box.
Can I pixelate the whole picture?
Yes. Turn on “Whole image” to apply the effect to the entire photo, then add extra areas on top if you want some parts stronger.
Will the saved image lose quality?
Only the areas you censor are changed. The image keeps its full size, and you can save it as the original format, JPG, PNG or WebP.
