Questions and answers
What aspect ratio do phone photos have?
Most phone cameras shoot 4:3, and many offer 16:9 or 1:1. Cameras with full-frame or APS-C sensors usually shoot 3:2.
Why does it say “closest to 16:9” instead of exactly 16:9?
The pixel dimensions don’t divide exactly into that ratio, for example 1366 × 768. The difference is shown as a percentage.
Is Aspect Ratio Finder free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
