About this tool
Pick any color from a photo, logo or screenshot and get its HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV and CMYK values, each ready to copy. A magnifier follows the cursor so you can pick exactly the pixel you want, and averaging over 3 × 3 or 5 × 5 pixels gives a truer color on noisy photos.
Your recent picks are kept in a history on this device, so you can collect a set of colors and copy them all at once.
- Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
- No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.
Questions and answers
How accurate are the CMYK values?
They are a straight conversion from RGB, as used for web color codes. For print work, convert with your printer’s color profile.
Why does the picked color look slightly different elsewhere?
Photos vary from pixel to pixel. Use the 3 × 3 or 5 × 5 average for the typical color of an area.
Is Image Color Picker free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
