About this tool

Questions and answers
Why does the text stay dark under the highlight?
With “Keep text readable” on, the color is multiplied with the image, the way ink from a marker darkens only the paper. Turn it off for a normal see-through color.
How do I draw a perfectly straight highlight?
Pick the straight line mode, or hold Shift while drawing with the marker.
Is the result the same size as my screenshot?
Yes. Highlights are drawn at the original resolution, so the text stays as sharp as in your file.
