About this tool
Join two or more images into one: side by side, stacked on top of each other or in a grid. Images can be scaled to the same height or width so the edges line up neatly.
Add spacing, an outer margin, rounded corners and a background color, change the order with the arrows, and download one combined JPG, PNG or WebP.
- Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
- No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.
Questions and answers
How do I put two photos side by side?
Drop both photos, keep the layout on “Side by side” and download. They are scaled to the same height automatically.
Is there a limit on how many images I can merge?
Only your browser’s memory limits the final size. If the merged image would be too large, it is scaled down automatically and you are told.
Can I keep a transparent background?
Yes. Turn on “Transparent background” and save as PNG or WebP.
Is Merge Images free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
