How to use Photo Editor
- Open a photo, or drop or paste it onto the page.

- Choose JPG, PNG or WebP and download the edited photo at full size.
About this tool
A complete photo editor that runs in your browser. Crop to any ratio, rotate, flip and straighten a tilted horizon, then fine-tune exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, color and sharpness, or pick a filter from previews made from your own photo.
Add text with outlines, shadows and background boxes, emoji stickers, shapes and arrows, draw with a pen or marker, and finish with a border, rounded corners or an instant-print frame. Every step can be undone, and the result is saved at the full resolution of the original photo, not at screen size.
- Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
- No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.
Questions and answers
Will my photo lose resolution?
No. You edit on a fast preview, but the download is rendered again from the original pixels, so a 24-megapixel photo stays 24 megapixels (minus whatever you crop away).
Can I undo changes?
Yes. Use the undo and redo buttons above the picture, or press Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z (⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z on a Mac). Crops, adjustments, filters, text, stickers and drawings are all part of the history.
Does the eraser remove parts of my photo?
No. The eraser only removes pen and marker strokes you drew. The photo underneath is never touched.
How do I straighten a crooked photo?
Open Crop and move the Straighten slider until the horizon looks level. The crop shrinks automatically so no empty corners appear.
Is Photo Editor free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
