About this tool
Show three values at once: each bubble has an X position, a Y position and a size. Group bubbles into series with their own colors, set the size of the largest bubble and adjust the opacity so overlapping bubbles stay visible.
Bubble areas are proportional to the size values, so a value twice as large looks twice as big, which is the honest way to compare sizes.

Questions and answers
How are the bubble sizes calculated?
The largest size value gets the largest bubble, and every other bubble gets an area in proportion to its value. Negative sizes are treated as positive.
What format should pasted data have?
One bubble per row: X, Y and size, optionally with a series name in front, for example “North, 2, 3.1, 40”.
