About this tool
Draw an outline around the shape of a transparent PNG, such as a cutout, a logo or a sticker. The stroke follows the outline of the subject, not the rectangle of the file, and stays smooth on curves.
Put the stroke outside for a classic sticker look, centered on the edge, or inside the shape. The canvas grows automatically so an outside stroke never gets cut off.
- Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
- No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.
Questions and answers
How do I make a sticker with a white outline?
Start with a cutout that has a transparent background, choose white, set a width of around 10–30 pixels and keep the position on Outside.
Why does the outline go around the whole picture?
The image has no transparent areas. Remove its background first, for example with the Remove Background tool, then add the stroke.
Is Add Stroke free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
