About this tool
Give photos the look of old film and cameras. Choose from faded film, warm 1970s prints, cross processing, old photos, cool retro, toy camera, expired film and instant print looks, each with its own color curves.
Every look sets matching fade, vignette, grain and dust, which you can adjust afterwards. Lower the strength to blend the look with your original colors.
- Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
- No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.
Questions and answers
What is cross processing?
Cross processing means developing film in chemicals meant for another film type. It produces strong contrast, yellow-green highlights and blue shadows, which this look imitates.
Can I remove the dust and scratches?
Yes. Set “Dust & scratches” to 0. The same goes for grain and vignette.
Will all my photos get the same look?
Yes. The chosen look and settings apply to every image you add, so a whole set of photos stays consistent.
Is Vintage free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
