About this tool

Repeat your photo in a grid of bold, flat color blocks, in the style of 1960s screen-printed portraits. Each tile gets its own color scheme, and the tones are split so every color gets a fair share of the picture.

Choose a 2 × 2 or 3 × 3 grid, pick classic, neon, pastel or retro colors, and add a gap between the tiles if you like.

  • Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
  • No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.

Questions and answers

What photo should I use?

A portrait or object with a simple background and strong lighting. Clear contrast between the subject and the background makes the color blocks read best.

How big is the result?

Each tile is up to the size of your photo, and the whole grid is capped at about 3,600 pixels on its long side to keep the file manageable.

Is Pop Art free?

Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
