Will my PNG get smaller as a JPG?
Photos usually shrink by 70–90%. Simple graphics with flat colors and sharp text can look worse as JPG; for those, PNG or WebP is the better choice.
What happens to transparency?
JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white by default. You can choose black or any other color instead.
