Questions and answers
How do I cut out a shape with straight edges?
Choose “Polygon”, click each corner of the shape, and click the first point again to close it. You can drag the points afterwards to fine-tune them.
Can I remove an object instead of keeping it?
Yes. Turn on “Invert selection”. Everything inside your outline becomes transparent and the rest of the picture is kept.
Does it select the object automatically?
No, the outline is exactly what you draw. For automatic subject cut-outs, use the Remove Background tool.
