How to use Grid Splitter for Instagram

  1. Choose or drop a photo, then pick a profile grid or a panorama carousel.
  2. Move and resize the frame over the part of the photo you want to use.
  3. Download the ZIP and post the tiles in number order.

About this tool

Turn one photo into a seamless grid of 3 columns and 1 to 5 rows, with square or 3:4 portrait tiles at 1080 pixels wide. Move the frame to choose which part of the photo is used, and each tile shows the order to post it in.

Panorama mode cuts a wide photo into 2 to 10 carousel slides at 1080 × 1350 or 1080 × 1080, so swiping through the post reveals the whole scene.

  • Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
  • No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.

Questions and answers

In which order should I post the grid tiles?

Post them in number order, starting with 1. New posts appear at the top left of a profile, so the first tile you post ends up at the bottom right once the whole grid is up.

Why does my grid not line up?

Check that every tile was posted in order without other posts in between, and that the tile shape matches the shape your profile grid shows: square or 3:4 portrait.

Is Grid Splitter for Instagram free?

Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
