About this tool
Open CMYK JPG, TIFF and PSD files made for print and save them as RGB JPG or PNG for screens, websites and presentations. The tool shows whether a file really is CMYK and whether it has a color profile.
CMYK JPGs are converted by your browser, using the embedded color profile when there is one. For CMYK TIFFs you can choose a print-like conversion that imitates ink on paper, or the simple formula for brighter colors.
- Works on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
- No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.
Questions and answers
Why do CMYK images look strange in some programs?
Many web tools and viewers expect RGB and either refuse CMYK files or show them with wrong, harsh colors. Converting to RGB fixes that.
Which conversion should I choose for TIFFs?
“Print look” gives colors close to the printed result. “Bright” uses the classic formula and gives more saturated colors, which can look better on screen.
Is CMYK to RGB free?
Yes. Every tool on ImgImage is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. Nothing you open here is sent to a server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large files are processed faster on a computer.
