Why is the JPG bigger than the AVIF?
AVIF compresses much more efficiently than JPG, so the same picture needs more bytes as a JPG. Lower the quality a little if size matters.
What happens to transparency?
Transparent areas are filled with the background color you choose, because JPG can’t store transparency.
