Questions and answers
Does rotating a GIF lose quality?
Turning by 90°, 180° or 270° moves pixels without changing them. Other angles need slight smoothing, as with any rotated image.
Why did the GIF get larger after a custom rotation?
A tilted rectangle needs a bigger frame to fit completely, so the corners are filled with transparency or your background color.
