Questions and answers
Does rotating by 90° reduce the quality?
The pixels are moved exactly, without any blurring. JPGs are saved again at the quality you choose; the default of 92% is visually lossless.
What happens to the corners when I rotate by an odd angle?
With Expand canvas they become transparent, or a color of your choice. With Crop to fit, the image is trimmed to the largest rectangle of the same proportions that has no empty corners.
Which way does a positive angle turn?
Positive angles turn the image clockwise, negative angles counterclockwise.
